We’re looking for a Contract Senior Technical Talent Sourcer, Engineering to help elevate how Customer.io identifies and engages exceptional engineering talent. You’ll join an established recruiting function and partner closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to strengthen our pipeline strategy and execution.
This is a sourcing-first role dedicated to Engineering to start. You’ll lead proactive talent mapping, generate meaningful pipeline, and bring real-time market insight into hiring decisions. You won’t be starting from scratch, but you will be expected to operate with ownership, judgment, and a clear point of view on how to improve the way we source.
You’ll often be an early point of contact for engineers considering Customer.io. Your work will directly influence the strength, depth, and long-term quality of our Engineering organization.
Ownership: You take responsibility for pipeline health and hiring outcomes. You don’t wait for direction — you identify gaps, adjust strategy, and keep momentum moving.
Partnership: You work directly with recruiters and engineering leaders to shape search strategy and calibrate roles. You bring market perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and build credibility through insight and follow-through.
High standards with real output: You know strong sourcing requires both quality and consistency. You generate meaningful pipeline while staying thoughtful about who you’re reaching and why.
