Job Summary

The Compliance Specialist at Elite Insurance Group supports the Compliance Department by ensuring the company and its agents operate in accordance with federal and state insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining documentation accuracy, monitoring compliance procedures, and assisting with audits and reporting. The Compliance Specialist helps protect the integrity and reputation of the organization through detailed, organized, and proactive support.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Compliance Officer with maintaining and updating internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Support agent onboarding by verifying licensing, appointments, and certifications.
  • Monitor ongoing agent compliance with carrier and state requirements.
  • Help prepare reports, audits, and documentation for regulatory reviews.
  • Track renewals, continuing education, and licensing deadlines to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical compliance files for all agents and agency entities.
  • Respond to internal compliance-related inquiries and provide accurate information or guidance.
  • Assist with training coordination and communication of compliance updates.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all recordkeeping and reporting processes.
  • Support other administrative tasks within the Compliance Department as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in insurance, compliance, or administrative support strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with insurance licensing processes and regulations is a plus.
