We’re Looking For:

A Compensation Analyst who will play a key role in the support of design, implementation, and administration of the company’s compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. This role requires a strong focus on analyzing and managing base pay, variable pay, and incentive structures, with a specialized emphasis on supporting the company's sales compensation plans and processes. The analyst will provide analytical support, research best practices, and contribute to the successful execution of annual compensation cycles.

You Will:

General Compensation: 

  • Market Analysis: Conduct job evaluations and market pricing to determine competitive pay ranges. Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data to maintain the company's competitive positioning.

  • Program Administration: Support the administration of annual compensation planning cycles, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus payouts.

  • Compliance: Ensure compensation programs adhere to federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and regulations.

  • Data Management: Maintain compensation-related data integrity in Workday or other relevant files and systems.

  • Reporting: Prepare internal and external compensation reports, models, and presentations for HR leadership and business partners.

Sales Compensation Focus:

  • Plan Design Support: Assist in the design, documentation, and modeling of sales incentive compensation plans for various sales roles, ensuring alignment with sales strategy and financial objectives.

  • Commission Administration: Manage the calculation, processing, and auditing of sales commissions and incentive payments in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Performance Tracking: Work closely with Finance and Sales Operations to track and analyze sales performance data against plan metrics.

  • Communication: Prepare and deliver communication materials  to sales teams regarding their compensation plans.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.

  • Proven experience in sales compensation, commission, or incentive plans.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with a major HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and/or dedicated Sales software.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compensation concepts.
