  • Assist in planning and facilitating community meetings and events (which may require some traveling beyond the CECs).
  • Help gather community feedback and track questions, concerns, and suggestions using tracking mechanisms specific to the project.
  • Collaborate with local organizations, schools, clubs, and community groups to support outreach efforts and drive traffic to the CECs.
  • Create and distribute communication materials such as flyers, newsletters, social media content, and project updates in coordination with the Communications Department.
  • Help coordinate educational workshops, site tours, and youth engagement activities that support the project.
  • Serve as a friendly, approachable point of contact between the project team and community members.
  • Contribute ideas for new engagement initiatives or campaigns to improve community participation.

  • Professional development in communication, event coordination, and stakeholder relations.
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects.
  • Mentorship from experienced outreach and project professionals.
  • A meaningful role supporting community voices and public involvement
