Salary: Competitive, Based on Experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Location: 40 Grosvenor Place, London SW1X 7AW (hybrid)

Contract: Full time, permanent

What are we looking for?

Dual reporting to Marketing and Human Resources, the Communications Lead will drive and coordinate a wide range of communications activities to enhance engagement, support organisational priorities, and strengthen Cleveland Clinic London’s brand and reputation. This role will primarily focus on internal communications, supporting on external communications as required.

The postholder will implement a best-practice approach to communications, manage internal channels, and delivering impactful campaigns that that build momentum and shape meaningful caregiver experiences. They will have excellent writing and editing skills, and a strong understanding and experience in internal communications. This includes planning, execution and implementation of best practices and demonstration of a flexible approach to their role that reflects the changing needs of a fast-paced environment. The role will include working with the London President and the Executive Team to drive internal communication activities through a range of channels.

What will your duties include?

  • Work with the Marketing and Human Resources in the development, execution and evaluation of a best practice approach to internal communications and engagement, including high-quality strategies to enhance caregiver engagement and support Cleveland Clinic London’s priorities.

  • Collaborate with teams to deliver integrated internal communications and projects that support Cleveland Clinic London’s strategic priorities.

  • Lead London President communications for internal messaging, including video content, script writing, all staff comms.

  • Partner with US based communications colleagues to ensure alignment across the Enterprise, driving forward London opportunities and providing local market insight.

  • Design and implement internal communication that supports engagement through ownership of the intranet, including copywriting and coordinating London caregivers in delivery of content.

  • Own development and distribution of weekly newsletter. Sourcing content, editing and delivery in a timely manner and following approval process.

  • Define overall success measures and track the effectiveness of engagement strategies, making proposals for enhancements based on data to optimise

  • Working with the CHRO, prepare agenda, content and communications for the monthly leadership team meeting

  • Implement and lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand caregiver engagement needs and map appropriate communication channels

  • Lead on delivery of Cleveland Clinic London Awards, liaising with internal partners as required

  • Oversee the integration of Cleveland Clinic standards in all communications.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What we need from you?

  • A demonstrable track record and expertise within the development of internal communications, copy writing, employee engagement and digital engagement (essential)

  • Previous experience of working in an agency environment or commercial organisation with significant growth target (essential)

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, including confident PowerPoint use (essential)

  • Comfortable working with brand guidelines and complex stakeholder environments and agile fast-paced teams (essential)

  • Knowledge of the healthcare market (highly desirable)

  • Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and basic video production/editing skills (desirable)

  • Experience with SharePoint, Google Sites, or internal communications platforms (desirable)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field (desirable)
