We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Auckland, NZ office however, is open to other locations for the right candidate. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The prime responsibility for the Risk Advisor is to assist Client Executives in all aspects of client service, including face to face client contact, administration, technical support and business development in association with the wider company departments where applicable to ensure the accurate, efficient and timely production of all clients, insurer and policy related documentation whilst growing and managing your own SME book of business.

The role requires someone who is a team player and who strives to achieve the best outcomes for both the client and our Company.

We will count on you to:

• Service a client portfolio of predominantly NZ-owned businesses, meeting growth targets and service standards.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for clients and insurers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage client renewals in line with Marsh’s “Client First Principles” to deliver consistent quality service.
• Attend industry and client events to build a strong professional network and represent the company effectively.
• Collaborate with Client Executives to understand clients' business, risk management, and insurance needs.
• Implement renewal and broking strategies as directed by Client Executives.

What you need to have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferably someone fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• New Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5).
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A minimum of 3+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably in broking.
