As our Paralegal, Commercial, you’ll support the Commercial Legal team by helping to strengthen our procurement activity and contract management. Your work will help safeguard Bupa’s reputation, manage legal risk and support colleagues across BGUK and Group to continue delivering high‑quality healthcare services.

Working closely with Procurement and wider business teams, you’ll provide clear, practical guidance that helps make health happen behind the scenes. If you enjoy problem‑solving and supporting people, this role offers real purpose and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and negotiate supplier and business partner agreements, supporting timely and fair outcomes.
  • Work closely with Procurement to support RFI, RFP and competitive tender processes.
  • Help develop and implement legal strategies, processes and policies to reduce legal risk.
  • Ensure Bupa’s reputation, name and intellectual property rights are protected.
  • Support improvements to contract procedures and stakeholder guidance, especially for low‑risk contracts.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and legal developments, sharing insights with internal teams.
  • Work with the Commercial Legal team to help the business understand upcoming regulatory changes and their commercial impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills, a high attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Clear, confident communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • A proactive, curious and collaborative approach.
  • Previous legal or contract‑drafting experience is desirable but not essential.
  • A graduate law degree or equivalent
  • LPC and/or GDL is desirable but not required.
  • An interest in commercial, regulatory and procurement‑related work.
