Job Description Summary

The O2C Collections Manager coordinates the collection, responsible for the E2E cash collection processes limiting past dues and thus maximizing cash flow through an efficient cash management process. Is responsible for recruiting a team of professionals with the proper coaching and developing as well as creating a team environment that emphasis the Novartis Values and Behaviors. Thought leadership, continuous improvement mindset, system utilization and ability to manage team members is able to execute E2E O2C processes.


 

Job Description

Location: Hybrid. CDMX

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Owns end-to-end collections service delivery, ensuring strong cash flow, low past dues and controlled credit risk.
  • Defines and executes collection strategies across portfolios to maximize cash and minimize bad debt.
  • Leads proactive credit risk management, taking timely actions as risk profiles evolve.
  • Chairs and drives credit committees, providing fact-based insights and influencing sound credit decisions.
  • Partners with Finance, Commercial teams and senior stakeholders to align business priorities and service outcomes.
  • Ensures operational excellence, managing blocked orders, disputes and credit-related issues efficiently.
  • Drives performance against SLAs and KPIs, fostering continuous improvement and service quality.
  • Ensures full compliance with internal policies, controls and SOX requirements.
  • Leads, coaches and develops a high-performing collections team, promoting an inclusive and results-driven culture.

Essential Requirements:

• Education (minimum/desirable):University level degree in Business Administration/ Economics/Finance or Chartered Accountant / MBA desirable
• Languages English require
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience
• Proven record of successfully managing projects driving performance (e.g. ERP implementation)
• Excellent communication skills, leadership exposure Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
• PMP /Lean Six Sigma Certified
