About the Role
This position is responsible to identify, plan and pursue opportunities to develop new business via bank partner distribution channels with cross-function collaboration to achieve the Company’s profitability and sustainable growth objectives.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Develop relationship across the entire bank partnership chain ie. corporate banking team, wealth management team, regional managers, branch managers, business managers, cross-selling executives, product champions etc. to obtain referrals from bank partners for EB leads.
- Perform sales activities either face-to-face or virtually from prospecting, proposal generation, presentation, negotiation until sales closure and on-boarding.
- To ensure prompt collection of premium and monitor bad debt and provisions.
- Regularly update sales pipelines.

INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS & SUPPORT
- Negotiate with Technical Advisory Services (TAS) team to support winning profitable business to improve renewal persistency (if necessary).
- Collaborate with Client Management to ensure new clients are on-boarded efficiently with proper transition to enhance on-boarding experience.
- Ensure all sales activities comply to Company’s policies and practices on risk identification, management of legal, regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Possess a diploma or equivalent
- Relevant working experience in sales role or industry experience is preferred.
- Possess strong presentation, influencing and communication skills
- Well verse in using Excel and PowerPoint
- Good team player, adaptable and versatile in working style
- Independent, energetic, passionate, proactive, performance driven
