Extreme Networks is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Channel Account Executive to join our Americas Distribution Sales Team. This role will focus on channel development, strategic planning, and execution with your distributor. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving growth and maximizing revenue potential through innovative sales strategies and effective resource management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development:
·        Manage and drive growth through incremental revenue streams within distribution, including recurring revenue programs.
·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners to ensure mutual success.
·        Implement strategies to expand market reach and increase sales through distribution channels.
Forecasting and Strategic Planning
·        Work cross functional to ensure that forecasting is accurate.
·        Create and lead a long-term strategy with your distributor.
·        Leverage pipeline date and historical POS to create growth plans to increase new funnel.
Additional Focus Areas:
·        Pre-Funnel activities with your distributor:
·        Create a strategy to recruit and onboard partners.
·        Enable Partners to get trained and certified to provide demos to customers.
·        Actively promote sales and technical tools.
·        Increase usage of quoting tools and promos.
Funnel Acceleration efforts:
·        Create and manage tactics with your marketing counterparts to drive new customer pipeline with the partners your distributor works with.
·        Create programs, spiffs, events, and more with marketing to create pipeline.
·        Post-Funnel Management:
·        Support internal teams with recon support.
·        Drive IQRR with distribution sellers.
·        Support extended teams like finance and supply chain to keep your distributor in a positive account status.
 
Qualifications:
·        Proven experience in distribution account management
·        Ability to drive growth and achieve ambitious sales targets.
·        Strong leadership and communication skills.
·        Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
OTE based on region, experience and qualifications 200,000 to 225,000 on a 50/50 Split
