Join us as a Client Service Supervisor Custody

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Client Service Supervisor Custody. If you are successful in your application to the Client Service Supervisor Custody role, you will ensure that the firm’s clients receive accurate and timely data and serve as a point of escalation for complex client issues. Your custody knowledge, as well as analytical skills will enable you to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, driven to produce responses across all segments. To be successful, you will need to be highly communicative and detail oriented, to think on your feet, to be able to juggle several duties, as well as to troubleshoot with decorum.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

Client Servicing and Inquiry Response:

• Field and respond to client inquiries and escalated issues and serve as the point person for senior level client contacts
• Coordinate and follow up on client meetings and deliverables
• Exhibit a sound understanding of BBH products and services
• Work closely with internal clients in Operations and Treasury and Markets to ensure timely resolution of client inquiries and improvement of service levels
• Serve as a key point of contact for external clients regarding daily servicing inquiries
• Develop key internal relationships to proactively aid in the resolution of client issues

Desired Qualifications:

Education level and/or experience:

• BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of Custody or other industry experience
• Prior experience working in a client servicing focused work environment

Knowledge and skills:

• Working knowledge of corporate actions, equity, fixed income, and derivative investments preferred
• Ability to prioritize and quickly resolve client needs
• Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments and work quickly and accurately in a deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with both verbal and written skills
• Technical proficiency in internal and/or web-based systems a plus
