About the Client Partner – Digital Advertising 

MarketStar is seeking a Client Partner to join us in our Ogden, UT location representing our newest Digital Advertising client. In this role, you will work with existing advertisers to proactively manage partnerships, ensuring client contacts are satisfied, and their business objectives are met using the clients platform's advertising solutions. Your role is to translate client objectives into high-impact strategies on the platform while consistently meeting revenue goals.

What Will You Do? 

  • Lead a customer outreach process that will include phone calls, emails, and VC meetings with the intent of building and managing external customer relationships through the onboarding process. 
  • Work with existing customers to build brand awareness and increase their usage and advertising spend on the platform. 
  • Own the full sales cycle from identifying growth opportunities to closing increased commitments with small to mid-size businesses. 
  • Follow best practices for setting up campaigns, including recommended flight durations, budget allocations, and creative strategies, to ensure maximum client success. 
  • Use data to manage, review, and report on pipeline to manager each week, which includes a forecast and plan to achieve targets. 
  • Attain daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue targets. 
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and present tailored advertising solutions to clients. 
  • Build and manage both internal MarketStar team and external client counterpart relationships. 
  • Prepare and run regularly scheduled performance reviews monthly/quarterly/yearly with internal MarketStar peers and leadership. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process. 
  • Internally and externally provide customer sentiment insights including product feedback, key industry learnings, etc. 
  • Adhere to advertising policies and guidelines and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities. 

 

What Will You Need to Succeed? 

  • Proven track record in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B digital advertising or technology environment. 
  • Strong results orientation with a drive to achieve and exceed targets. 
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills. 
  • Excellent time management and project organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills. 
  • Able to analyze and interpret data to develop and implement strategic plans is preferred. 
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites. 
  • Basic understanding of technology and familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems. 
  • High level of motivation and a proactive approach to work.

Compensation Range: $40,000 - $47,500

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.23 an hour. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $7,500 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills. Your recruiter will provide more detailed information during the interview process.
