What will you do?
In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security.

Lead and contribute to civil design tasks across general civil, drainage, earthworks, utilities, alignment and related structural interface works.
Develop practical and well considered design solutions that respond to client requirements, site constraints, standards, constructability and project risk.
Coordinate civil inputs with structural, transport, drainage, utilities, rail, buildings and other project disciplines.
Prepare and review drawings, calculations, design reports, technical notes and design documentation.
Communicate clearly with project teams and clients on design assumptions, risks, issues and recommended actions.
Use digital workflows, design tools and AI enabled practices to improve design efficiency, documentation quality and decision making.
Identify opportunities to improve delivery methods, reduce rework and standardise design outputs.
Support junior engineers and designers through clear direction, technical guidance and review.
Work collaboratively across local, national and global teams to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.

What can you bring to the team?
Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent, open to other degrees who demonstrate a practical understanding to Engineering.
Approximately 6 or more years’ experience in civil infrastructure design, preferably in a consulting environment.
3D Design Software experience
Proactive, resourceful civil engineer who is willing to adopt new practices and look for better ways to deliver work.
Strong all round civil engineering capability across general civil, structural coordination, drainage, earthworks and alignment design.
Able to develop practical, constructible design solutions across varied infrastructure projects.
Strong communicator who can clearly explain technical issues, design options, risks and recommendations to project teams and clients.
Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and coordinating inputs from designers, engineers, reviewers and external stakeholders.
Able to use digital tools, design software and emerging AI tools to improve quality, speed, consistency and project outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of work packages, solve problems and progress design issues with limited supervision.
Practical understanding of design standards, authority requirements and infrastructure delivery constraints.
Willingness to challenge existing approaches where there is a better, safer or more efficient outcome.
