What this job involves

The Centre Manager of Phoenix Shopping Centre and Altone Park, in accordance with duties identified within the Management Agreement.

You will take responsibility and lead by example a small team in managing and operating the centres to the very highest of professional standards to maximise the net return to the Owner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Implementation of all responsibilities as specified in the Management Agreement.
  • Preparation and analysis of income/expenditure budgets, business plans, monthly reports, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and audits in accordance with the owner’s critical dates.  Communicate strategy and asset/business plans to the management team.
  •  All leasing negotiations are carried out by an external leasing consultant however the Centre Manager to assist by attending leasing meetings and responding to leasing enquiries as directed by the Owner.
  • Assist in preparation of Leasing Documentation/Disclosure Packages as per Owner’s requirements and in conjunction with the Leasing Agent if required.
  • Manage and assist the Operations Manager with maintaining the centres to the very highest of standards and minimising the liability risk exposure of the Owner and JLL.
  • Ensure all processes/systems are operated in accordance with JLL Re-Guide and JLL standard documents.
  • Regular site property inspections and completing Property Inspection reports.  Follow up on any issues in a timely manner.
  • All marketing strategy and activations are carried out by an external marketing consultant however the Centre Manager to assist by attending relevant meetings and respond to marketing enquiries as directed by the Owner.

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

Desired experience and technical skills

  • Previous retail property management experience is required with a thorough knowledge of all property related functions
  • Current Real Estate Agents Representative Certificate or Real Estate License
  • Degree in Property, Business, Management or related discipline highly  desirable
  • Excellent reporting, analysing and Microsoft Office skills
