Overview of Business Unit

The Carpentry team delivers reactive, project and planned maintenance services nationwide to Cushman & Wakefield’s nationwide and regional client base.

Job Purpose

Complete carpentry and general maintenance tasks as required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Complete carpentry and general maintenance tasks as required
  • Identify opportunities for new work and escalate to client and/or manager
  • Complete relevant documentation for client invoicing
  • Adhere to HSSEQ policies, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Any other duties as required by your manager

Key Measures of Performance

  • All works completed within timeframes to standard required
  • Logon and logoff KPI achievement
  • Completed works accurately recorded and send to admin team for invoicing within stipulated time frames.
  • Future work identified and escalated to client and/or manager
  • Internal and external customer satisfaction

Position Dimensions

Ensuring the Carpentry division achieves revenue and margin targets.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Trade qualified, ideally with two year’s commercial maintenance experience

QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Experienced Carpenter, formal trade qualifications beneficial
  • Site Safe, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platforms beneficial
  • Commercial carpentry maintenance experience
  • Computer skills – word, excel, webmail and use of Smartphones/tablets
