DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capacity and Data Analyst to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain operations. In this role, you will analyze production capacity, demand forecasts, and operational performance data to ensure optimal resource utilization and uninterrupted product supply.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to deliver data-driven insights, improve planning accuracy, and support strategic decision-making in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Analyze production capacity vs. demand to identify gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities
· Develop and maintain capacity planning models for manufacturing sites and supply chain networks
· Create and manage dashboards and reports (Power BI or similar) to track KPIs such as utilization, throughput, and cycle times
· Support S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) and demand planning processes with data-driven insights
· Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in production and propose corrective actions
· Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to optimize resource allocation and scheduling
· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems and sources
· Automate reporting processes and improve data workflows (ETL, data pipelines)
· Perform trend analysis and forecasting to support medium- and long-term capacity planning
· Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean / Six Sigma principles
· Ensure compliance with GxP and data governance standards
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field
· 3–5+ years of experience in data analysis, capacity planning, or supply chain analytics, preferably in pharma or regulated industries
· Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI (or similar BI tools)
· Strong experience in data visualization and dashboard development
· Knowledge of capacity planning, demand forecasting, and production planning concepts
· Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry
· Knowledge of GMP / GxP environments
· Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and planning tools (e.g., APO, Kinaxis)
· Programming skills in Python or R
· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehousing concepts
· Certification in data analytics, Lean Six Sigma, or supply chain management
