This role is within the EDS segment, and you will be joining that segment as it becomes its own entity, with a rich heritage and proven track record as a global leader in low and high voltage power and signal distribution systems. Our solutions are central to enabling the next generation of electrified, automated, and connected vehicles, and we are committed to innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence.

YOUR ROLE
• Defining and technical supervision of the production process
• Implementation of projects related to the introduction of new materials/cables for electrical harnesses in vehicles in accordance with procedures, standards, and customer requirements
• Proposing and developing alternative technical solutions, implementing new technologies
• Defining specifications and requirements for testing and processes
• Engineering supervision over the production of cable prototypes
• Using knowledge of the product manufacturing process in the evaluation of tests
• Supervision of technical documentation
• Defining specifications and requirements for testing and processes
• Preparation and performance of tests according to customer specifications and international standards
• Creating ideas and concepts for product development
• Coordination/implementation of tests according to customer specifications/international standards
• Coordination and maintaining contacts with suppliers and customers
• Understanding and application of quality systems
• Supervise, train, organize work and support small team
YOUR BACKGROUND
Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
• Engineering degree
• Proficiency in English
• Cable products knowledge: cable types, used materials, cable production processes, costs calculations
• Production process digitalization and data management: Cable specific programs / SAP/ MES / knowledge
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the working time
• Teamwork skills
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft software
