As Ciena is evolving his supply chain model in Mexico, an additional purchasing position is being created to support the growing amount of business in the Region. This is a full time Ciena position, to be based in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Responsibilities
The main objective is to make sure timeliness of supply, accuracy of delivery information between the respective MRP systems as well as providing first level escalation and support on issues such as product availability, receiving snags, invoicing disputes, etc.

Collaboration with stakeholders
This position is responsible for executing the various tactical activities involved in our products purchases, partnering with Ciena’s material planning teams, as well as our EMS Partners and OEM Vendors.
Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
