Major Accountabilities:
Heavy Medium Duty Vehicle (HMDV) Business Pursuit Manager, includes:
Forming a 5 years strategic plan for growth and development to support Regional and Global objectives
Identifying, evaluating, and creating new partnerships and business opportunities
Negotiating and finalizing new business and partnerships agreements to support business expansion and market penetration
Understanding of customer requirements and oversight of cross-functional teams to assure customer expectations and relationship is kept in high regard
Providing guidance and support during the quote, development, and execution phases to ensure pursuit commitments are achieved
Developing and achieving growth targets and specific customer pursuit strategies aligned to business development objectives
Effectively allocating resources to numerous simultaneous development initiatives while prioritizing projects and activities based on their profitable growth potential
Must Haves (Basic Qualifications):
Established Industry connections at major Heavy Medium Duty Vehicle manufactures
Industry knowledge and understanding of major Heavy Medium Duty Vehicle manufactures
Minimum 10 years’ Sales experience in the relevant industry
Wiring harness application preferred but not mandatory
Self-starter, ability to manage multiple activities effectively with minimal oversight
Analytical capability and business acumen
High energy, a passion for success, the strong desire to win new contracts
Hunter mentality
Willingness to travel
As a Business Pursuit Manager joining our team, your main focus will be on developing critical new partnerships across the Heavy Medium Duty Vehicle Industry in India. Working alongside our global and India Regional Sales team and reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for generating business opportunities which ultimately lead to new RFQs and business awards. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for ambitious front-line Sales professionals
