In this role, you will play a critical role in translating Dental and Vision strategy into action. You’ll lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that improve how products, services, and capabilities are delivered—driving measurable outcomes for customers, partners, and the business. Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of medium to large, cross‑functional projects supporting Dental and Vision strategic priorities, from concept through implementation and stabilization.
Partner with business leaders to define project objectives, success metrics, scope, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with broader portfolio and business goals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts including project plans, schedules, risk logs, communication plans, governance materials, and executive status reporting.
Facilitate cross‑functional working sessions, decision forums, and stakeholder updates to drive alignment, remove obstacles, and maintain delivery momentum.
Identify risks, issues, and change impacts early; proactively develop mitigation and contingency strategies to keep initiatives on track.
Coordinate with portfolio management, Agile delivery teams, and operational partners to sequence work, manage interdependencies, and support prioritization decisions.
Evaluate new project requests and enhancements by assessing business value, complexity, effort, and readiness to support informed investment decisions.
Support organizational change efforts by partnering with business owners on operational readiness, communication, training, and adoption planning when needed.
Monitor project performance against milestones, budget considerations, and outcomes, escalating risks or decisions as appropriate.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high‑performing team environment that promotes continuous improvement and shared ownership of results.
Qualifications – Required
3+ years of experience leading business or operational projects in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
Experience within insurance, healthcare, or health services organizations.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Strong stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to executive and non‑technical audiences.
Hands‑on experience using project management tools, frameworks, and best practices to plan, execute, and track work.
Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with changing priorities.
Qualifications – Preferred
Dental and Vision healthcare product/project experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
PMP or similar project management certification, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience supporting portfolio planning, business case development, or executive‑level decision materials.
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.
Demonstrated experience supporting change management or operational readiness activities.
