We are looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Manager 1 based out of Linthicum, Maryland. This position is on-site and offers the 9/80 schedule.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Business Management Manager 1 will lead the F-35 Sensor Development Portfolio within the Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division, F-35 Sensor Production and Development Operating Unit (OU), reporting to the OU Business Manager for F-35 Sensor Production and Development.
Business Management Manager 1 roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Management and development for a team of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
Financial reporting and business strategy in support of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly Indicated Finals (IF)
Preparation and presentation of financial data to internal and external customers as required
EVMS oversight with COBRA reporting to satisfy internal/external deliverables.
Oversee Comprehensive Estimate-at-Complete (CEAC) preparation and review
Support of pricing and proposal activities.
Assistance with contract negotiations, including negotiation floor analysis and negotiation favorable cash terms.
Ensure compliance with all NGC policies, internal controls and disclosed practices and provide internal and external support of compliance audits
On-going collaboration with the customer and functional teams
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional industry related experience - OR – a Master’s degree with 3 years of professional industry related experience.
Prior experience in a Program Control Environment - setting up cost control system, and monitoring costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts
Prior experience in finance, accounting and/or program control
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, S4, and Cognos
Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
Prior experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
US Citizenship
A current, active DoW Secret Clearance is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
MBA or CPA certification
Previous experience managing/supervising program, project, or personnel. This may be a lead position on a team.
Experience with Cognos forecasting system

Primary Level Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $157,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
