Business Development & Marketing Manager - Healthcare

We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join our team based in Bulgaria.

The Business Development & Marketing Manager will be responsible for new offering development, project management, marketing activities, overseeing relationships with key data suppliers to maintain the panel and identifying new data sources.

It includes developing strategies to expand existing contracts and identify new business opportunities, as well as defining and designing data products based on market demand. The responsibilities encompass co-managing the product budget, creating product roadmaps, and presenting updates and strategies to executives.

This role is based in Sofia.

Key Accountabilities

  • Product Definition & Design: Define, design, and position products, components, or platforms with product governance. Apply structured product lifecycle management principles and agile development practices to ensure scalability and standardization across data products.

  • Market-Oriented Strategy: Develop and implement IQVIA's data products across the organization, focusing on market demand. Incorporate trend analysis of internal demand patterns, customer needs, and competitive landscape to align product strategy with global standards.

  • Product Roadmaps: Own product roadmaps, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategy. Include performance metrics monitoring and ROI calculations to support strategic decisions.

  • Executive Presentations: Prepare and present product updates, strategies, and business cases to executives.

  • Managing marketing and communication activities in line with corporate strategy.

  • Regular interactions with key data suppliers to maintain critical data supply relationships, negotiate data supply fees, identify new data sources, and manage contract negotiations.

  • Develop strategy for expanding scope of existing contracts and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Budget & Forecasting: Co-manage annual product budget setting, staffing, and multi-year forecasting to deliver business value. Integrate financial modeling and pricing strategies to optimize product positioning and profitability.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in marketing, offering development, product management or a similar role. Exposure to healthcare and big data technologies is a strong advantage.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communicator and collaborator in both English and Bulgarian.

  • Research & Analysis: Proficient in internal inventory research, market research, and competitive analysis.

  • Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams.

  • Stakeholder Influence & Negotiation: Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. Skilled in partnership management to enhance product offerings.
