What this role is all about

Business Analytics aims to cover business and commercial points with customers and suppliers (MNOs or messaging service providers) by conducting proper market intelligence and ensuring that suggested business models grant Infobip maximized profitability and short return on investment.

They drive Infobip’s progress by serving as a primary business intelligence source with a broad company overview in delivering data-driven insights for business and platform optimization. They are a consultant role from the business preparation stage until the product launches and once the project is active by tracking progress, following business opportunities, implementing improvements, and influencing financial progress. 

The team is focused on proposing adequate strategies for regions and Infobip’s products, in this situation the focus will be on CPaaS channels (including OTT / digital channels). They also navigate requirements in dedicated markets to support growth and bring additional profit. 

The team constantly communicates with other departmentsfinance, billing, sales, operator partnerships, legal, technical support, development, and the management team – which all rely on data and inputs from the Business Analytics team. 

What you'll do

  • Daily traffic, revenue, GP, and quality analysis, with a special focus on CPaaS channel messaging models.

  • Proactively contributing to the growth and development of profitability, especially in the area of CPaaS channels.

  • Customer and profitability-related reporting, with a proactive analytical mindset in every step and task we work on.

  • Custom pricing analysis, recommendations, and approvals for top customers, including support in sales processes.

  • Pricing model development/redefinition, recommendations, and evaluations with a consultative, data-driven approach.

  • Impact estimations based on partner (MNOs or messaging service providers) pricing changes.

  • Supporting analysis, price recommendations, and future route setup; generating business insights for decision-makers on a daily and global level.

  • Tracking and ensuring the profitability of all customer deals, and reporting on project profitability with proposed next steps to increase it.

  • Fine-tuning internal platform mechanisms to achieve top-quality service and cost optimization, in strong collaboration with revenue and technical stakeholders.

  • Implementing reporting dashboards in Power BI or similar systems for ongoing product performance tracking.

What makes you a strong fit

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst or analytical commercial role, with a proven consultative approach to translating complex data into strategic recommendations for stakeholders.

  • High level of business acumen with a strong interest in technology, particularly CPaaS and SaaS products.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Fabric).

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute effectively in a fast-paced global environment.

  • Solid strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to proactively identify and implement optimizations.

  • Full professional fluency in English.
