Opportunity:
Individual performs various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects. This work requires knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of budgeting. 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to forecasts and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial models and tools.
  • Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and economic developments.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • AS/AA or 2 yr Tech School in Finance, Accounting Economics or related field or HS/GED w/ 10 years or military experience E4 and up
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot table, macros, formula)
  • Experience with financial software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance


Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Active TS/SCI

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
