Play a part in providing healthy fish for Oregon! Perform fish culture duties to meet production goals and maintain equipment, grounds and buildings.
As a Bonneville Hatchery Laborer (Laborer/Student Worker) in Cascade Locks, Oregon, you will assist the hatchery staff with projects and duties necessary for successful hatchery operation. This will include helping with fish rearing, mowing lawns, cutting shrubs, weeding, and cleaning walkways and parking lots.
Primary duties for this position will be grounds maintenance related May through July. The primary duties will transition to assisting with fish culture activities August through October.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Minimum qualifications are not established for this position; however, we are seeking applicants with the following experience or skills. Preference for interviews may be given to candidates with these skills and background:
Experience with fish or hatcheries
Experience with landscaping and grounds maintenance
Experience operating electronic or mechanical equipment
Maintenance and repair experience
Experience interacting with the public

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect an additional 6.95%
