About the Opportunity

Service Stream’s Energy division are currently looking to build our candidate pool of experienced Boilermakers who have experience in burners, boilers, balance of plant and magaldi in coal fired power stations.  With newly awarded contracts, we are looking to strengthen our capability and are open to applicants from both Queensland and New South Wales. 

Nature of position:       Casual

Location:                      Queensland / New South Wales

Reporting Line:            Operations

Key Roles / Responsibilities

Reporting to the site-based operational team, you will be required to undertake the following tasks:

  • Execution of work packages in accordance with the relevant standard
  • Compliance of customer hold and witness points
  • Participate in toolbox talks and relevant safety documentation and information
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
  • Liaise with Leading Hands and Supervisors, Quality and NDT if required
  • Provide accurate update information to Supervisors

About You

To be successful in these roles, you are an experienced Boilermakers with a genuine concern for safety, our people and outcomes.

We are seeking individuals with demonstrated knowledge and experience with outage / turnaround or shutdowns preferably in a coal fired power station.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Cert III – Engineering)
  • Construction Induction Card
  • Driver’s Licences preferred
  • High Risk Work Licence (LF, WP) – preferred
  • Working at heights certificate valid within 2 years
  • Confined space certificate valid within 2 years
