Job Description:
As a BigData developer, he/she should understand business processes and technical architecture of Airbus Skywise landscape (developed on BigData Spark framework) and define/suggest best practices and Golden rules. Your area of responsibility will extend to development, deep technology root cause analysis, performance improvement and source code auditing.
The candidate will work in an international, distributed and multi-functional team; using an agile mind-set and methodology.
1) Graduate with 4+ years of experience , 2+ years exclusively in Skywise Development.
2) Minimum 1 year of experience in Support or customer service. Developer skills working in apache spark framework in the java code is must.
3) Experience working with atleast one Skywise dashboarding component like Slate, Workshop, Object explorer is a must. Development experience using Javascript or Typescript is a must.
4) Developer skills utilizing Python/Java and Spark fundamentals – extensive understanding of PySpark, good grasp of Pandas/Foundry/Polaris would be a plus.
5) A background in designing and developing high-quality server side processing in Python. An understanding of how to ensure these applications are robust, with easy to navigate code, and reusable components.
6) Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
7) Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP is appreciated
8) Practical experience of delivering good quality code within enterprise scale development
9) Good problem solving and analytical skills
10) Customer facing skills. Worked with European customers.
11) Good at code optimization.
