Position Purpose
The BI & Process Tools Manager – Americas is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving data intelligence, process digitalization, automation and tools harmonization across all clusters in the Americas region (NAM, MAC and SAM).
This role ensures the organization leverages data, technology and standardized processes to improve decision-making, operational efficiency, transparency and scalability. The position acts as a key enabler of the regional transformation agenda by eliminating inefficiencies caused by fragmented tools, manual processes and inconsistent reporting structures.
The role will lead a regional team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Service, Finance, Procurement, HR and Operations, ensuring BI architecture and process tools fully support business performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Regional BI Strategy & Governance
Define and execute the Americas BI and Process Tools roadmap aligned with BU Strategy and Division priorities
Establish governance for reporting structures, dashboards and KPIs across the region
Ensure one single source of truth for performance data
Drive standardization of reporting methodologies across clusters
Partner with Global BI and IT organizations to ensure alignment with corporate architecture
Process Digitalization & Automation
Identify and prioritize automation opportunities across the full business value chain
Lead initiatives to eliminate manual work through digital workflows and system integration
Drive implementation of automation solutions (Power BI, Power Automate, CRM integrations, ERP tools, etc.)
Improve operational efficiency through process simplification and digitization
Support implementation of strategic initiatives such as digital transformation programs and performance management tools
Tools Harmonization & Systems Landscape Optimization
Map and rationalize the current tools landscape across Americas
Reduce tool fragmentation and redundant solutions
Lead harmonization of tools across clusters wherever feasible
Ensure tools support scalable and standardized ways of working
Act as regional owner for selected business tools where applicable
Business Performance Enablement
Develop executive dashboards supporting regional leadership decision making
Improve visibility of key business metrics including:
Order intake
Revenue & profitability
Project execution performance
Service performance
Backlog health
Cash performance
Support CFO and business leaders with advanced analytics and insights
Develop predictive analytics capabilities where possible
Cross-Functional Business Support
Act as trusted partner to regional leadership team
Support all business functions with data driven insights
Ensure tools support operational execution and not only reporting
Enable fact-based decision culture across the organization
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing regional BI and process tools team
Define clear roles and responsibilities within the team
Develop capabilities in data analytics, automation and process optimization
Foster a culture of ownership, speed and business orientation
Ensure proper prioritization of regional initiatives
Change Management & Adoption
Drive adoption of BI tools and standardized processes
Ensure user engagement and training where needed
Promote a data driven culture across the region
Support organizational transformation initiatives
Act as change agent supporting the Americas harmonization strategy

Your Profile / Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data Science or related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Experience
8–12+ years of experience in BI, digital transformation, process optimization or operations excellence
Proven experience leading regional or cross-functional teams
Experience in industrial, engineering or project driven environments preferred
Strong experience implementing BI platforms and automation tools
Experience working in matrix organizations
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of BI platforms (Power BI preferred)
Experience with ERP and CRM environments
Experience with automation platforms
Strong data modeling and analytics capabilities
Process mapping and optimization methodologies
