BGS Government Services is seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist supporting Business Intel in Berkeley, MO.

This role will develop advanced metrics and forecasts, produce executive presentations, identify process improvements.  The role will help to develop and lead BGS-G Performance Execution Dashboard, Functional Metrics, Scorecard, RIO, and On-Time Delivery. 

 

To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must develop solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation. They must be able to support multiple functions at the executive level, have an agile mindset with exceptional organizational skills, a working knowledge of supply chain, and a positive and flexible attitude.  Occasional travel may also be required. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly creation of BGS-G Scorecard and Functional Metrics

  • Lead the monthly development of the Performance Execution Dashboard

  • Drive improvements to operational health of the Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management system to ensure execution of mitigation planning

  • Support in the development and execution of strategy, communications, and operating rhythm for Government Services

  • Guides and facilitates the development and integration of programs, plans, strategies and processes to meet business goals for authorization, such as sourcing strategy for commitment of work, cost imperatives and deploy impact analyses.

  • Facilitates the establishment of an overall management system architecture by utilizing the Program Management Best Practices.

  • Leads special projects and ensures coordination, implementation, and execution are successful on behalf of leadership

  • Strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications

 

 Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3+ years' of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • 3+ years' experience presenting to executive level management ​

  • 3+ years' experience leading team in a formal and/or informal role

  • 3+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

  • 3+ years’ experience managing in ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizations

  • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies, and processes to meet business goals

  • 3+ years' experience maintaining and/or developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics

  • 3+ years' of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project

 

Preferred Qualifications: (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • Ability to support non-standard business hours late evening/early morning meetings (due to time zone differences with team in Middle East market)

  • Experience with digital transformation – embracing and promoting a technology focused, digital environment that enables efficient metrics-driven operating model
