They are a Web3-focused insurance and risk management company, backed by a regulated insurance group, providing tailored coverage solutions for blockchain, crypto, and digital asset businesses. We work with fast-growing technology companies globally to help them manage risk and scale securely in a highly dynamic market.
They are looking for a BD Associate, you’ll be a key driver in expanding their market presence. You will support lead generation, engage potential clients, nurture prospects through the sales cycle, and help close deals. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated early-career professional who is passionate about Web3, insurtech, and B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads through research, networking, and targeted outreach
- Identify and qualify prospects across Web3, crypto exchanges, wallet providers, custodians, and related tech firms
- Support the full sales cycle — from initial contact, needs discovery, solution pitching, to closing
- Coordinate and run sales presentations and product demos with senior team members
- Draft proposals, follow-up emails, and sales materials tailored to client needs
- Monitor industry trends in blockchain, digital assets, risk, and insurance
- Provide regular feedback to product and marketing teams on market opportunities and customer needs
- Work with underwriting, operations, and technical teams to ensure sales commitments align with product deliverables
- Support marketing and events initiatives (e.g., webinars, partnerships, conferences)
Qualifications
- Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (B2B preferred)
- Strong motivation to work in Web3 spaces. Understanding of blockchain / crypto technologies and digital asset custody
- Excellent communication skills — able to confidently engage C-level and technical stakeholders
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to contribute to revenue growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset and high adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment
- A self-starter who thrives under minimal supervision
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
