Role Summary/Purpose:
AVP, Analytics – Marketing Measurement Consulting (individual contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH) and reports to Marketing measurement leader in IAH, closely partnering with platform & business teams across different geographies. The desired employee will leverage central campaign measurement tools and data analytics to drive actionable insights and optimize marketing campaign performance. This role will partner closely with marketing, analytics, and finance teams to provide clear recommendations on campaign effectiveness, influencing decisions regarding continuation, modification, or cessation of campaigns to maximize ROMI. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of campaign metrics, and the ability to translate complex data into impactful business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage central campaign measurement tools to monitor, analyze, and make recommendations on campaign performance to influence campaign decisions on what to continue, optimize, or stop.
Lead efforts to promote and drive adoption of the central campaign measurement tool across relevant stakeholders and teams through measurable impact from portfolio-level case studies around campaign effectiveness.
Provide inputs and lead presentations of campaign insights during monthly and quarterly business reviews to key stakeholders.
Collaborate directly with marketing, analytics, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of recommendations & actions.
Be fully hands-on and be able to roll-up sleeves to lead projects, perform data analysis
Deliver projects, adhering to expected timelines, accuracy & compliance with meticulous project management and mentor team members on analytical, technical and functional subject matters
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience.
5+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS with proven ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data
3+ years of hands-on experience on campaign measurement & solving open-ended business questions
3+ years of hands-on experience with data visualization tools esp. Tableau
3+ years of experience in project management with ability to define & refine best-in-class delivery model for teams, devise alternative approaches in an agile manner
Experience in storytelling, presenting to senior leaders with strong communication skills & minimal supervision
Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills
Strong written/oral communication & stakeholder management skills

Innovative mindset that looks to improve current capabilities and discover new ones
Experience working with Python and R, preferably in a Linux-based cloud environment such as AWS
Eligibility Criteria:

Work Timings: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
