AV Engineer (1-year Contract)

Your future role within QRT 

This contract position will play a key role in the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of QRT’s APAC Audio Visual (AV) systems. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the AV Engineer will ensure seamless video conferencing, presentation, and meeting room experiences across our APAC offices. The role provides exposure to a wide range of AV technologies, integrated systems, and modern workplace collaboration tools.  

  • Oversee and support the setup and configuration of daily AV operations 
  • Build relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure optimal user experience and satisfaction 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV-related incidents and service requests across offices, working with local IT teams and external vendors as needed 
  • Monitor, manage, and optimise AV hardware, environments and meeting rooms systems, ensuring reliability and performance 
  • Participate in AV upgrade projects and global rollouts, assisting with installations,  system testing, and documentation 
  • Help plan and manage events requiring external AV services (townhalls with global broadcasting etc.) 
  • Train and support end users in the effective use of meeting room technologies 

Your present skillset 

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar AV engineering or support role, ideally within a corporate or financial services environment 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (Surface Hub, Cisco Board Pro, Crestron Flex) 
  • Proficiency with Crestron control systems and QSC DSP configuration 
  • Familiarity with room booking systems such as Evoko and Yealink 
  • Experience integrating AV systems with Microsoft Office 365 and managing resources within the MTR Pro Management portal 
  • Solid understanding of network protocols and AV over IP technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS) 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with technical and non-technical users 
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing tasks independently 
  • Experience in a global, multi-site environment would be advantageous.
