Group Audit and Assurance (GA&A) is the internal audit function for the Group. Our purpose is to provide independent, objective assurance on risk management, controls, and governance. As technology transforms industries, GA&A is evolving with digital tools, AI, and data analytics to deliver smarter, faster, and safer outcomes.

Your Impact:

As Audit Manager, Institutional Banking, Markets and Foreign Branches Audit, you’ll report to the Executive Manager in the team and play a key role in delivering audits focused on Institutional Banking and Capital Markets.

This is a dynamic role where adaptability, sound judgement, and collaboration are essential. You’ll work on meaningful projects that protect our customers and strengthen the bank.

This is a 12 month, maximum term opportunity.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in all stages of audits – planning, fieldwork, reporting and closure.
• Support the development of a risk-based audit plan and refresh it regularly.
• Use data analytics and digital tools to enhance audit efficiency and insights.
• Prepare clear, concise reports for senior stakeholders and Board committees.
• Build strong relationships across the business to provide holistic risk coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within GA&A.
   

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Experience in Compliance, Risk and/or Audit within financial services or professional services.
• Understanding of Institutional Banking and Markets products is desirable, but not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills – able to present findings clearly and confidently.
• Ability to work with urgency and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Proficiency in data tools and reporting dashboards.
