Attendant Mini Bar - OC

Listen, record, communicate and deliver food & beverage items based on requests, guest history and preferences. Be enthusiastic and use your talents to sell our experience to our guests. Be able to work independently and on a team to deliver room service orders, record and restock mini-bar items, charge guest accounts accordingly and take and maintain inventory of stocks.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining proper product levels, spot checking in-room minibars including inventory-consumed items, posting/billing of items consumed to guest bills, and completing consumption reports daily.
  • Learn and retain food & beverage and menu knowledge
  • Use excellent communication skills with guests, staff including verbal, written and body language
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking of mini bars
  • Be able to communicate timely and in a responsive manner via digital device
  • Execute fabulous guest service
  • Enthusiastically describe details of mini-bar items, food dishes and beverages at time of delivery to guests
  • Work well on a team or independently while being accountable for work performed
  • Be a team player!

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in The United States
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • Food Service Handler Card and TIPS certification that is currently valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
  • Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in a full-service hospitality establishment

Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed in a Casino/Hotel setting.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
  • May be exposed to smoke
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
  • Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
