The Financial Aid Advisor II, under direction, counsels and provides student financial aid and scholarship information to prospective and currently enrolled students and their families. Facilitates workshops, develops and makes presentations on and off campus to groups regarding financial aid and scholarships. May coordinate or specialize in a specific program. May provide some mentorship and training to other staff.
The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.
The Athletic Assistant | Offensive Analyst II works to identify weaknesses in plays and proposes new strategies to the PVAMU coaching staff. Key duties include analyzing opposing team offensive strategies, charting tendencies, and suggesting strategic plays, as well as providing summarized reports to coaching staff and players.
Responsibilities:
Identifying weakness in offensive plays and suggest new strategies to coaching staff in practice.
Overall game day preparation, offensive statistical and video analysis of opposing teams.
Analyze opposing team offensive strategy, chart tendencies and propose strategic plays.
Analyze film data on current team and opponents and provide summer report and analysis to coaching staff and players.
Assist with the coordinator of daily administrative support statistical analyses and opponent preparation within the PVAMU football program. This includes, but is not limited to: The coordination of video cutups and distribution of preliminary offensive scouting reports.
Assist self scouting offensive schemes.
Travel with coaching staff and team to provide statistical support.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Some experience playing football at the high school or collegiate level and/or experience as an analyst.
