    CLA is looking to hire an Assurance Manager/Director to join our Financial Services Group.

    As an Experienced Assurance Manager/Director, you will...

    • Participate on audit, review and compilation of engagements with our financial institution clients
    • Assume full responsibility for planning, supervising, and controlling all phases of the firm's regular services for those clients delegated by engagement leaders. Delegate or assume in-charge responsibility; project and plan the timing of the workload to promote the most efficient operation of the staff. 
    • Lead the decision-making process for assigned engagements/clients; keep the engagement leader fully informed of major decisions, engagement progress, the client's situation, and potential problems. 
    • Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people through paid volunteer hours.
    • Follow the engagement progress through monitoring time budgets and deadlines for adherence; communicate important developments to the engagement leader along with facts, conclusions and recommendations; provide ongoing attention to client management; and prepare final client meetings.
    • Evaluate internal controls and audit programs prepared by staff, revise as necessary, and present to the engagement leader for approval.
    • Delegate or supervise preparation of the engagement letter for approval by the engagement leader, discuss the nature and terms of the assignment with the client, estimate fees, and ensure client signs and returns the engagement letter prior to the start of the engagement.
    • Perform analytical reviews on financial accounts and identify trends.

    Think you’re a fit?  This is what successful candidates for this role have...

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
    • You have an active CPA license.
    • You have 6 years of experience in professional services required (completed internship(s) may qualify as related experience)
    • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently

    Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth.  We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people.  Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.  These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range.
