Associate Regulatory Specialist II – Regulatory Affairs

Join Ecolab as an Associate Regulatory Specialist supporting the Product Safety team.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Work with SDS authoring processes for the LATAM region, including eSprints, TDS, 3DS projects, Experimental products, and related regulatory workflows.

  • Support and maintain strong working relationships within the Hazard Communication (HazCom) team as well as with Business stakeholders.

  • Maintain Regulatory Affairs (RA) infrastructure, including systems, documentation, procedures, and processes related to assigned responsibilities.

  • Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and provide regulatory support for customer communications as needed.

  • Following regulatory processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable government regulations, while supporting business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Toxicology, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.

  • Understanding of Hazard Communication requirements and LATAM regulatory frameworks (e.g., GHS revisions, controlled substances regulations in Brazil), with the ability to interpret regulatory documents.

  • Proven project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in English

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proactive, self-motivated approach with a collaborative mindset and positive attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Chemical Industry, or a related field

  • Experience working with SAP systems

  • Familiarity with AI tools

  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
