As an Associate Director Treasury, you will play a pivotal role at the centre of Arxada’s global Treasury function. You will act as a key interface between internal and external stakeholders, partnering closely with the Head of Treasury to drive strategic initiatives, strengthen financial structures, and enable best-in-class treasury operations. This is a highly visible position where your expertise will directly shape global cash management, financing strategies and automation initiatives, supporting Arxada’s continued growth and transformation.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead and strengthen relationships with banks and financial partners, negotiating optimal outcomes for the business.

  • Drive global treasury initiatives across financing, factoring and cash management, ensuring alignment with market best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with treasury controls, policies and governance frameworks.

  • Champion automation and digitalisation of treasury processes and payment flows.

  • Act as system administrator for Treasury Management Systems (TMS), e-banking platforms and related tools.

  • Negotiate and support treasury-related contracts, including loan agreements.

  • Structure and evolve the global treasury operating model, promoting centralisation where appropriate.

  • Lead key treasury projects and actively support cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field; advanced financial education is advantageous.

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in Treasury with strong exposure to global banking and cash management environments.

  • Proven track record in treasury systems, process optimisation and automation.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk, control and business enablement.

  • Business-fluent English required; German is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in complex, international environments.

  • High level of autonomy, ownership and accountability.
