Summarized job description:

  • Finance owner of the P&L; responsible for sales and OPEX plans, monitoring execution and taking corrective action where needed
  • Leads, coaches and develops local finance team in order to perform required assignments in most efficient and compliant way
  • Ensures financial compliance for internal, external and statutory requirements and controls
  • Works with global functions from Tax, Treasury, FP&A and Accounting to ensure compliance and alignment with Corporate Finance goals
  • Ensures efficient finance processes and procedures are in place, as well as efficient internal controls
  • Ensures all statutory requirements are fulfiled in timely manner
  • Contact person for External & Internal Financial audits (statutory, tax, corporate internal audits)
  • Leads F&A projects locally and can participate in above country projects
  • Active participation in Industry associations
  • Member of the Poland Leadership Team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Economics or Business Administratition
  • Experience of 8 or more years working in similar positions in an international environment
  • Experience in accounting, budgeting and planning          
  • Fluency in English, both in written and oral communication
  • Excellent user of Office Programs as Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background accross all areas of finance (FP&A, Controllership, accounting, tax, treasury)
  • Skilled in leading and influencing
  • Local entity finance management experience
  • Industry knowledge
  • Basic know-how of applicable laws concerning business admin, taxes (esp. VAT), accounting and consolidation
