JOB TITLE: Assoc Director- Technology II
JOB LOCATION: 2900 West Plano Parkway, Plano, TX, 75075 [Hybrid position]
DUTIES: Responsible for managing end-to-end delivery and service realization of complex enterprise-wide, multiple applications, or system development projects by working with business clients to develop business cases. Act as main contact with cross organizations to identify and quantify business requests and issues associated with specific projects, develop and implement business strategies, and assist in setting strategic technical direction. Define business and technical requirements, define the project’s scope and work schedules, estimating necessary resources, allocating capital and expense funding, and reconciling the actual expenses to estimate to keep the project within budget. Utilize end-to-end program and project management and service realization. Utilize SAFe principles, managing program scope through EPIC and feature definition on an Solution Train and Agile Release Train. Utilize Wireless, BroadBand, Network technologies and IT integration. Perform in software development IT environment, transformation plans and emerging technologies. Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric software solutions and meet business objectives. Suggest and recommend as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, and other status changes for employees under their supervision. Interview and select employees, maintain proper staffing levels, allocate resources, supervise team daily operations, productivity, identify areas for improvement, develop action plans to improve performance, develop teams technical and managerial expertise through on-the-job and formal training opportunities, and enforce company policies. Evaluate individual performance for annual performance review, merit increases, promotions and other employment status changes, and conduct long-range planning for the team. Utilize Agile and Scrum.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing SAFe principles, managing program scope through EPIC and feature definition on an Solution Train and Agile Release Train; utilizing Wireless, BroadBand, Network technologies and IT integration; performing in software development IT environment, transformation plans and emerging technologies; and utilizing Agile and Scrum.
