Position Summary :
This position reports to the Head of CBI. As a Line Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Specimen Systems & Data team members and the Imaging team members located in BMS office in Hyderabad and efficiently and independently performing the duties and responsibilities for this role as outlined below. Position Responsibilities • Responsible for line management of the Systems & Data and Imaging Management Team in Hyderabad. • Perform side-by-side coaching, deliver performance evaluations and goal setting for team. Team mentoring, hiring, training, and keeping motivation levels in a dynamic environment. • Work with the Head of the Specimen Systems & Data team to develop processes and procedures and prioritize work for CBI’s systems. • Ensure alginent with the Head of the Imaging team for BOW distribution within team. • Able to learn and provide guidance in the day-to-day activities of the roles within remit. • Maintain organizational metrics. • Contributes to integration efforts to facilitate “around the clock” activities and process improvement initiatives across internal and external organizations. • Contribute to CBI initiatives. Degree Requirements
BA/BS or equivalent degree in relevant discipline.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum preferred of 6 years of global experience in clinical drug development, biospecimen management or related experience Minimum preferred 2 years of people management.
Key Competency Requirements:
Deep knowledge of clinical biospecimen/imaging procedures and lifecycle including: collection and tracking procedures, logistics considerations, chain of custody, issue escalation/resolution and data management highly desired. Demonstrated clinical trial experience, healthcare/medical/laboratory or equivalent. Vendor experience (e.g., Central Labs, Imaging Vendors, Bioanalytical, Biomarker, CROs, Biospecimen Storage Vendors, etc.). May represent the organization as prime contact on projects requiring cross-functional coordination inside and outside the company Ability to display skills for stakeholder management including conflict and change management. Possesses skills to successfully manage, direct reports and develop people or independently identify enterprise-wide issues and oversees initiatives for solutions. Display a biopharma enterprise-wide and entrepreneurial mindset, to act with a sense of urgency, accountability and integrity, and to have fun along the way.
