WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Program Manager, Data & Architecture services (DAS) will lead and manage the execution of data workstream within the large & complex strategic change/regulatory initiatives within Capital Markets (CM) & Quantitative & Technology Services (QTS). The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities across cross-functional business and technology teams within and outside Capital Markets to ensure program goals and objectives are accomplished within approved timeframe, scope and budget. This role requires an understanding of Capital Markets & QTS data Strategy and ensuring program deliverables align to that vision.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead and manage the Data Book of work for x-asset strategic & regulatory initiatives with multiple work streams through full project lifecycle (initiation, definition, financials, resourcing, implementation, delivery, enhancement, maintenance)
- Work with Global Business/Technology Owners to ensure that the initiatives successfully deliver against desired business outcomes and enable value creation
- Manage program communications including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, project team
- Establish appropriate governance and oversight for assigned initiatives
- Develop integrated baseline project plans applying estimation models; refines & tracks plans including coordination of inter-work stream dependencies; manages performance against delivery plans
- Raise and track issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves project issues and escalates to immediate manager when required
- Manage projects with data analysis, modeling, data lineage and controls pipeline across technology and business teams
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
- 7+ years Program & portfolio Management experience with progressively increasing responsibilities
- At least 5+ years of Program Management experience in Capital Markets (IT or business) across cross asset large scale ($5M+) strategic change and regulatory initiatives.
- Possesses a strong knowledge of SDLC and 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies & tooling (JIRA, Confluence)
- Domain expertise in one or more asset classes (Rates, Credit, Equities) and F2B functional areas Front Office (trade capture, pricing, trading risk/pnl), Operations, Product Control, Market and Credit Risk.
- Proficiency with MS Office (MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint) & Visio
- Demonstrated ability to face off to Director and MD level senior management across IT and business
- Financials and Program Funding aspects based on prior experience

- Strong problem solving capabilities; Strong structured, analytical and methodological thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across technical functions and business units
