Who We're Looking For:

  • 2-4 years of experience in an automotive parts department
  • Ford brand experience preferred but not required
  • A reliable team player with a positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Process driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong accountability and a sense of urgency
  • Courteous and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

What You'll Do:

The Assistant Parts Manager assists in the management of all Parts Department activities, ensuring exceptional customer service and the attainment of Lithia’s performance targets. This individual assists in the hiring, training and development of all Parts personnel. The Assistant Parts Manager serves as the liaison between the store and Support Services Fixed Operations, ensuring compliance to all company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure employees are properly trained to meet department, store and customer needs.
  • Develop staff by setting and communicating performance/production expectations, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching and mentoring.
  • Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner.
  • Ensure full compliance with all procedures, policies and rules regarding the maintenance of warranty parts as set by the manufacturer
  • Ensure core, warranty, manufacturer and aftermarket parts returns are processed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with all policies and procedures
  • Assure stocking levels are sufficient to meet customer demands.
  • Utilize inventory reports to manage inventory levels daily, and ensure inventory investment is maximizing ROI and customer satisfaction

The annual estimated earnings range for this role is $50,000 to $75,000. This is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes commissions based off department net, as well as bonuses based on manufacturer approvability. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
