Assistant Manager, Finance Controlling

This position is responsible mainly for regular monitoring of Budgeting & Forecasting, Accounting and Reporting. The role partners closely with Financial Controller, Cost Center owners and cross functional team to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

Being a Finance team member, supporting the team on month-end Closing, Financial Reporting and year-end Audit.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Review and analyze material movement and financial trends and discuss insights with Financial Controller and relevant department head.
  • Oversee regular tracking of actual expenditures against approved budget and annual plans. Identify variances, highlight risk and opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Working closely with internal departments to ensure timely submission of high-quality financial data required for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
  • Provide guidance to cost center owners to enhance financial discipline and understanding of financial performance.
  • Data submission and analysis are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage and complete the reconciliation of assigned accounts.
  • Responsible for assigned financial reporting (external and internal) tasks, mainly related to Regional/ Group reporting.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Participate in departmental special projects and perform assigned duties with the coordination with Myanmar team as well as regional colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics or CPA, ACCA holder is preferable
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial industry with the interface to cross functional departments (Marketing, IT & etc).
  • Strong track record of project experience, data analytics and financial skills (i.e., deliverables achieved in a timely and budgeted manner).
