Assistant Manager, Distribution Compliance

The Assistant Manager, Distribution Compliance will support the Compliance Team Leader in overseeing sales compliance and acting as a second line of defense across all distribution channels. The role involves investigating customer complaints and agent misconduct, preparing investigation reports, and recommending corrective or disciplinary actions. This position works closely with internal stakeholders to identify risks, prevent sales malpractices, and strengthen compliance standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight of sales compliance across all distribution forces in accordance with applicable regulations, Company policies, internal guidelines, Asia Segment compliance standards, and Vietnamese laws.

  • Handle investigations of customer complaints related to agent conduct, ensuring timely resolution and coordinating with relevant departments to collect required information and evidence.

  • Investigate potential misconduct cases, including but not limited to sales misconduct, customer complaints, incidents, allegations, claims fraud, or other breaches, within defined turnaround time (TAT).

  • Provide timely support and feedback to internal stakeholders to help prevent and control agents’ malpractices.

  • Prepare and update investigation reports in a timely manner, including verification of allegations and recommendations on disciplinary actions and penalties (if any).

  • Detect abnormal signals and recommend preventive measures to mitigate potential risks.

  • Report investigation results and propose recommendations or appropriate measures to mitigate risks to Disciplinary Committee.

  • Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.

  • At least 5–7 years of working experience in Compliance, Audit, Risk Management, Investigation, or related fields.

  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written).

  • Strong reporting and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work under high pressure and handle multiple tasks independently.

  • Ability to manage difficult situations and interact effectively with stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in compliance or misconduct investigation.

  • Proficiency in investigation methods and reporting tools.

  • Experience with data analysis, data visualization, or Power BI.

  • Knowledge of insurance products and distribution models.
