BASIC FUNCTION
To assist the Head Football Coach in the administration and operation of the football program.
NATURE AND SCOPE
The Offensive Coordinator/Tight Ends Coach is responsible for the development, training, and performance of the offense and tight ends.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Train and mentor the offense and tight ends in fundamental skills such as mechanics, footwork, decision-making, and reading offenses.
- Create individualized training programs that address the specific needs and strengths of each player.
- Develop and implement practice plans that focus on improving performance.
- Analyze game film to evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of game plans, including play selection and situational strategies.
- Utilize video analysis tools to assess quarterback mechanics and decision-making during practices and games.
- Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and competitive environment that encourages growth and development among the offensive line.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience coaching at the college level, high school level and/or equivalent professional experience
- An understanding of the rules and policies of the NCAA
- Ability to work with diverse individuals and promote an inclusive environment
SALARY RANGE DISCLOSURE: $100,000 - $105,000
