Job Summary: This position is located at the Washington: Joint Base Lewis-McChord Army Fisher House. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Major Duties:

  • The incumbent provides support to the Fisher House Manager and acts as the housing manager in their absence
  • Provides direct, on site management and administration of facilities and evaluates established programs and administrative procedures
  • Participates in the development, execution, review and analysis of the Fisher Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Budget
  • Under the Fisher House Manager's direction, implements new procedures, regulations and guidelines concerning house operations
  • Participates in coordinating and supervising volunteers and contract employees, such as housekeepers, repairmen, landscapers, etc

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Two years of work experience, either paid or volunteer, that demonstrates an understanding of at least one of the following areas: facility operations and maintenance; financial management; supervision of housekeeping and other maintenance staff; recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers; guest relations; and marketing. A two-year hospitality related associated degree or certification as CLM (Certified Lodging Manager) may be substituted for the two years of work experience.
