As an Asset Coordinator, your primary mission is to manage the lifecycle and movement of our packaged gas assets. You will be the bridge between demand and supply—ensuring our cylinder fleet is sized correctly for current customer needs while proactively planning for future growth. You will use a data-driven approach to solve bottlenecks and work closely with facilities to keep assets moving efficiently.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

This is a full-time permanent role, 38 hours per week, based in either Henderson WA or Elizabeth SA.

1. Asset Optimization & Fleet Sizing

  • Evaluate the current packaged gas fleet to ensure the right mix of asset types (vessels/cylinders) is available to meet customer demand.

  • Forecast future requirements to size the fleet for growth, ensuring capital is invested in the right asset classes.

  • Maintain optimal stock levels across various hubs to prevent shortages or stagnant inventory.

2. Operational Coordination & Problem Solving

  • Coordinate the physical movement of assets between sites by working directly with facility managers and warehouse teams.

  • Identify "lost" or slow-moving assets and develop strategies to improve turn-around times.

  • Streamline the workflow between filling stations and distribution points to maximize asset utilization.

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all assets meet the required safety and regulatory standards for gas storage and transit.

  • Conduct regular physical audits of inventory at various facilities to ensure system accuracy.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure assets are retired or refurbished at the end of their lifecycle.

Are you a MATCH?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience: Minimum 4 years in asset coordination, inventory management, or supply chain logistics.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proven ability to analyze a logistical bottleneck and find a creative, efficient solution

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of gas distribution equipment and the regulatory requirements for handling pressurized packaged gases.

  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to determine fleet capacity and predict future demand trends. Power BI skills are a must.

  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively move assets through different departments and facilities.

  • Eligibility: Valid and full Australian working rights.
