The Assessor will be part of a high-performing project team dedicated to delivering a multi-year, billion-dollar major rail infrastructure project through collaboration and a best-for-project vision.Strong understanding of Asset Suite 9 and work requirements in Ontario Power Generation
Strong understanding of work protection requirement in Ontario Power Generation
Plan construction removal and installation work activities within work orders, work requests and maintenance work in Asset Suite 9 to aid in the development of comprehensive work packages (CWP’s)
Produce detailed work plans and instructions
Prepare reports and history records in Asset Suite 9
Evaluate the work environment to determine required support groups
Provide guidance/input regarding work planning, execution and commissioning strategies
Support with man-hour estimates and establishing the required resources and crew assignments for the assessed tasks
Prepare foreign material exclusion plans as required for the assessed tasks
Review inspection and test plans to ensure they reflect the effort included in the assessment packages
Participate in site walkdowns and meetings as required to ensure there is sufficient understanding of the design
Create material requests as required to support work assessments in Asset Suite 9
Create Temporary change records as required for temporary changes is ESM III
Review design engineering packages to ensure the package is constructible and has sufficient details for assessing and that tie-in points have been load verified
Review and interpret project documents, specifications, Online Wiring packages and other technical documents
Conceptualize construction plans / methodologies that define how to construct and install various systems and equipment
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or College Technical Diploma in related discipline, or Apprenticeship training, or other related industrial education
10 years related experience with Nuclear projects
Strong knowledge with Asset Suite 9
Experience in planning work packages
Experience in electrical, mechanical and civil packages
