We are looking for experienced and highly driven individuals to support Assembly and Test manufacturing facility in Penang as a New Product Integrator
Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Plan/manage NPI activities as a product owner that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers. This role will require cross functional departments and organizations engagement and be the focal point of contact for NPI builds execution to ensure successful new product startup from engineering to High volume manufacturing (HVM).
- Identify tasks, determine dependencies, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates, and create/track the project schedule. Constantly track and publish progress of NPI in meeting Performance Against Schedule and meeting CSIs of every key milestone of Recipe Chek-Out, engineering sample, quality sample, Factory Cert and Manufacturing Validation.
- Ensure system setup, process flow, material readiness, and securing capacity for NPI activities/data collection.
- Understanding product challenges and working with technical experts across various groups to provide solutions to a wide range of problems. Drive Design For Manufacturing (DFM) while working on NPI deliverables. Proactively seek for opportunity and work on improvement actions to improve NPI program result delivery and effectiveness.
- Lead investigation of issue hindering progress of NPI deliverable completion until isolating to root cause area with proper alignment of risk mitigation actions, then hand over to the rightful area owners for full resolution. Follow up to ensure problem solved and NPI progressing to meet sample volume delivery ahead of commit with good quality.
- Be able to document all readiness, deliverables, process flow, product build routing, BOM, etc. and own white paper for factory cert qualification
Qualifications:
- Candidate should possess a minimum Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field with at least 3 years of work experience.
- Knowledge in Assembly or Test process, TD transfer methodology, and statistical data analysis is required
- A team player with good English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and equipped with project management and stakeholders management skills
- A Project Management Professional certification is a plus
